OKC Police say woman scammed second Walmart with deck of cards in iPhone box

The Oklahoma City Police Department says a woman who put two decks of cards in an iPhone box and returned it to an Oklahoma City Walmart did the same thing at another Walmart.The Oklahoma City Police Department released photos on Wednesday of a woman who pulled the switch when she walked into a Walmart at Penn And Memorial with an iPhone 5s. Police said she had what appeared to be a shrink-wrapped and sealed phone and a receipt. The clerk said she had a receipt for the phone from the Walmart in Guthrie.On Friday, police said they learned the same woman committed the same scam at the Walmart at NW Expressway and Council just hours later. This time, investigators say she got out of the store with more than $1,500 in cash.Investigators say in both crimes, she had what appeared to be a sealed and brand new cell phone but when they opened the box, they found playing cards.Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
