OKCPS board votes to shorten spring break

In a special meeting of the Oklahoma City school board it was decided to cut one day out of the normal two weeks of the spring break.
Board members decided to hold classes on Monday, March 10th, to make up for the extra snow day used this winter. OKCPS Interim Superintendent Dave Lopez said teachers can give missed assignments to those students who already have travel plans.
