The Oklahoma City Thunder broke a two game losing streak with a 115-111 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. As expected the two Kevin's, Durant and Love, led the way for the Thunder ant T-Wolves respectively.
Despite a 3-10 start, Kevin Durant scored an NBA season high 48 points and grabbed seven rebounds while Kevin Love led Minnesota with 30 points 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Nikola Pekovic was also a handy tool for Minnesota with 31 points and 11 rebounds.
The win almost didn't happen in regulation when Thunder center Kendrick Perkins fouled Love while he was shooting a three pointer in the closing seconds. That put Love at the free throw line for three shots and a chance to tie the game at 114 all but Love missed the first two free throws and the third intentionally.
The win raises OKC's record to 25-7. They will host Boston Sunday night at 6:00.
