Motorcyclist leads Warr Acres, other police, on high-speed pursuit

Police in several agencies worked to pull over a motorcyclist weaving in and out of traffic in NW Oklahoma City Monday afternoon. Police tried to pull over the motorcyclist, 27-year-old Jerod Thompson, first near NW 71st and MacArthur for defective equipment. Thompson refused to pull over and led police on a nearly 30-minute chase that wound through Nichols Hills and southwest Oklahoma City. The motorcyclist was arrested at near NW 11th and Meridian after being cornered by police. Police say Thompson will faces several felony charges including assault with a deadly weapon, felony eluding and possession of a CDS with intent to distribute. No one was injured in the pursuit.
