A Texas mother says she was kicked out of a pizza restaurant for changing her baby at the table. Miranda Sowers says the restaurant had no changing table in its restroom while the restaurants owners say that is no excuse. Sowers says she was alone with her three girls at a Brother's Pizza Express when the incident happened. With no changing table available she decided to avoid the hassle of taking the baby to the car and change her at the table. "So I thought, you know what, I've got my own changing pad. She's tiny. She fits right here on the chair. So I laid her down quickly, quietly and changed her diaper," Sowers said. Restaurant employees say the changing wasn't quick or quiet and the the business was full.Bessa Lala and her brother Donny run the business and asked them to leave. Lala said the family was given their food in "To Go" containers. "As soon as you start opening the diaper people start complaining about the smell. The last thing I want is a customer throwing up," Lala said. Sowers says no one saw her change the diaper and has filed a complaint against the business with the Better Business Bureau.
