Minco PD reserve officer released from duty after arrest
A Minco Police Department reserve officer has been released from duty after being arrested Friday evening in Oklahoma City. Brett W. Johnson, 26, was arrested by the Oklahoma City Police Department at 6:30 p.m. Friday for forcible oral sodomy and sexual battery. Minco Police Department Cpt. Brian Hau said their office was made aware of the allegations against Johnson Friday morning. "They are troubling and a cause for concern not only to those affected but to the town of Minco as well." Hau said. "In light of these allegations this officer has been released from duty with the City of Minco." Hau says Johnson had been a reserve officer with the Minco Police Department since the spring and that he had only been on the streets a few times. Johnson was on duty with his other employer Oklahoma Safety and Security when the incident allegedly happened.
