Man critically injured after behind hit by car in Moore

MOORE — Police are investigating after a man was critically injured after being hit by a car early Thursday morning.The accident happened just after 4:00 a.m. near NW 1st and Janeway in Moore.Officers say the victim was rolling a tire down the street, possibly changing a flat tire, when a car came around the corner and hit him. The car continued to drive another 100 to 200 feet with the victim stuck in the windshield.Police arrested the passenger of the car for assault and battery after she started fighting with police officers and slipping in and out of her handcuffs.Moore officers believe alcohol may have played a role in the accident and are conducting a blood test on the driver.
