Louisiana man injured during encounter with alligator

A Louisiana man's decided to square off with an 11-foot alligator and now has 80 stitches and a cell phone video to prove it. Glen Bonin says he came upon the alligator recently in the middle of a busy Louisiana road. Bonin and his friends decided to attempt to move the 'gator so it wouldn't get hit by a vehicle. "We took our shirts off, threw it on his face, and we were going to come from behind it and jump on it. In the process of doing that, it spun around and grabbed my hand seconds before we jumped on it." Bonin said. While Bonin was attempted to wrangle the alligator from behind, the 'gator snaps its head at him, biting his hand. "It felt like someone was pulling my arm out. I thought I was about to lose something. It felt like it lasted forever," Bonin said. Bonin admits it was a bit of liquid courage that made him think he could move the 'gator. Bonin says his injuries will heal with time and rehab. (Video source: CNN)
