A man convicted of sex crimes and required to register as a sex offender has disappeared and Logan County deputies are asking for the public's help finding him.
The Sheriff's Office says 43-year-old Cedric Baker was convicted in 2004 of three counts of rape by instrumentation and three counts of lewd acts with a minor. The sheriff says in 2009, he was convicted of failure to register as a sex offender. He was released in late 2013 on that charge and was required to register but the sheriff says he did not.
According to the sheriff, he met with probation and parole but did not register and has not been cooperating with either department to register.
Deputies tracked his cell phone to two addresses near Penn and Memorial and also at NW 122nd and May in Oklahoma City.
The sheriff says Baker is a strong risk to the public. Anyone with information is urged to call local law enforcement or the Logan County Sheriff's Office at(405)282-4100.
