The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of a female inmate at the Oklahoma County Jail. According to the OSBI, jailers were alerted to a problem with a female inmate Saturday. Paramedics were then called to the facility and found the woman unresponsive. The female inmate was incarcerated for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Foul play is not currently suspected in the inmates death. Her body has been taken to the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. The identity of the inmate has not yet been released.
