Graphic video shows the surprising person who tried to stop a vicious beating
A video that's being spread across the internet is graphic in nature but also shocking for the one person who stepped in to stop the fight.The attack happened Tuesday, according to the CBS station in Philadelphia, and the video of the attack was posted to YouTube and briefly posted to Facebook. The attacker, an apparent fast-food worker, was wearing a McDonald's uniform during the attack. The victim falls to the ground as the attacker hits her about 20 times with her fist.As the attack continues, a crowd gathers but doesn't intervene except for one person. The victim's toddler son is seen pleading for the suspect to stop and then starts to kick the attacker to try to get her to stop.At one point, the suspect threatens the boy, saying: "You better get your son before I kick him in the face too!"Police in Salem, New Jersey, where the attack happened, identified the attacker as 25-year-old Latia Harris.According the police report, the beating left the victim with limited function in her left eye, several contusions, and a broken nose. The report also states she kicked and threatened to shoot her. Police told NJ.com the victim said Harris "accused her of spreading rumors about her (Harris) and her manager."
