Former OSU football player Justin Blackmon arrested for marijuana

Former Oklahoma State football player Justin Blackmon has been arrested in Edmond for possession of marijuana.

Edmond police say 24-year-old Blackmon was stopped for a traffic violation a little before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

When the officer approached, he said he smelled marijuana coming from the passenger side of the car.

Blackmon admitted to police that he had been smoking a blunt.

Police found the 3 g blunt and took Blackmon into custody without incident, where he later posted bail.

As you may remember, last October the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars' suspended Blackmon for one year without pay for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
