As temperatures climb into the upper 70s and winds howling out of the west in the 20 MPH range, the chance of a small spark starting a big fire are high and crews are out battling the flames.
Crews were called to a report of a grass fire near Harrah in the area of SE 74th & Pottawatomie Rd. Crews arrived and reported grass, brush, and other dry vegetation burning just south of Wes Watkins Lake.
