FBI makes arrests in OKC for child sex trafficking
168 children, including children here in Oklahoma, have been rescued in a massive FBI sex trafficking bust. The operation, aptly known as "Operation Cross Country," took place in over 100 cities. According to the FBI, the Oklahoma City Division rescued two kids and arrested 14 pimps. This pimps were among the 281 people arrested nationwide in connection to this alleged trafficking. FBI Director James Comey notes that the FBI operation has removed 3,600 children from the streets so far. Comey stresses that American children are not for sale. The FBI did not release the ages of all the victims, but did say one was an 11-year-old girl.
