The Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation is trying to find the man responsible for robbing a bank in North Oklahoma City.
The Bank of Oklahoma at 11300 N. May Ave. was robbed around 9:00 a.m. Monday. According to the FBI, a entered the bank and approached the counter. He then demanded the teller give him all her money. The teller complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. He showed a semi-automatic pistol before he left bank on foot. He was last seen headed east through the bank parking lot.
The FBI describes him as a black male, late 20's to mid 30's, 6'00", heavy build. The FBI says he was carrying a backpack with him and he was wearing a fake beard, straw hat with a small brim, and sunglasses.
The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and Oklahoma City Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to call the Oklahoma City FBI Office at (405)290-7770. You could be eligible for a reward up to $2,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and/or conviction of anyone robbing a member bank.
