Elderly OKC man pleads guilty to sex crimes, avoids prison

James Swindle, 75, received no prison time after being convicted of 12 sex crimes.

A 75-year-old Oklahoma City man convicted of 12 charges of child molestation will not serve prison time.James Donald Swindle Sr. agreed to a plea deal Friday in Cleveland County. Swindle pleaded no contest to the charges and was found guilty by District Judge Tracy Schumacher.After being convicted, Swindle was sentenced for the 12 charged to 20 years each, all suspended. Swindle will have to register as a sex offender and will be on probation.Swindle was arrested in 2012 and charged with 14 sex crimes involving young girls.
