Edmond authorities say a man is dead after being hit by a train Tuesday evening.According to the Edmond Police Department, an electric worker was hit and killed by a train along the tracks between 15th St. and 33rd St. near S. Broadway Tuesday around 6 p.m.Casey Moore, City of Edmond public information officer, said 57-year-old Bob Waterson, a Lead Journeyman Lineman with Edmond Electric, was killed during the incident. Waterson was removing his truck that got stuck earlier in the day as he worked to de-energize lines in the area. "We are incredibly saddened and shocked by this tragic accident," said Glenn Fisher, Director of Edmond Electric, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Bob's family, friends and co-workers." Edmond police are still investigating the incident.
