Kevin Durant took home his second award of the week as he was named Kia NBA Western Conference Player of the Month.
The NBA says the award covers games played in October and November. Durant led the Thunder to an 11-3 record through the first full month of the season.
According to the NBA, Durant led the league in scoring at 28.3 points per game during the award period. He recorded six 30-plus point performances and a season high 42 points during the month as well as six double-doubles.
Durant led the Thunder to an 8-0 home record during the award period, which is the best home start during the Thunder era. The Thunder All-Star took home his second award in two days. On Monday, he was named the Western Conference Player of the Week.
The Indian Pacers' Paul George took home the award for the Eastern Conference.
