Oklahoma County Deputies arrested a man they say was high on synthetic marijuana and passed out behind the wheel.
Cody Price, 21, was arrested last Wednesday at SE 29th and Harrah Road. According to the sheriff's department, he was passed out behind the wheel of his car at the intersection. A deputy was responding to the scene of a possible drunk driver asleep behind the wheel and said he found the vehicle parked on the side of the street with part of the car in the grass.
The deputy said he knocked on the glass and woke up the driver, later identified as Price, who seemed to be confused. The deputy said it took Price a few minutes to figure out how to roll down the window. The deputy asked him to get out of the car and reported seeing Price put a foil pipe in his pocket.
Price and the deputy spoke for a few minutes when Price reportedly admitted to smoking synthetic marijuana known as K2. He was taken into custody and went to the hospital to be checked out first.
He was then booked into the county jail on several charges including DUI-drugs, possession of synthetic narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
