Del City woman arrested on complaints of child pornography and bestiality
OKLAHOMA CITY —
A Del City woman is facing multiple felony charges after an investigation that involved the FBI. According to court documents Angelique Mendell is facing charges relating to child pornography, crimes against nature and violation of the computer crimes act. A mug shot from the Oklahoma County jail shows she was arrested on child pornography and bestiality charges.
According to a probable cause affidavit, the investigation began with federal officials looking into child pornography. An officer made contact with someone living in "the southern part of Oklahoma" who directed him to Mendell. The officer states he found this person based on a post he made searching for someone who could connect him with a "BD girl." The court documents indicated "BD" stands for the website, "Beastdating.com", which the agent identifies as a website "designed to match individuals who share an interest in cross species sexual activity with non-human animals."
The officer engaged in online communication with the subject who posted it told the officers about a woman "in OKC" who he identified in a video showing her involved in sexual activity with a three-year-old boy and a dog.
According to court documents, Mendell told an undercover officer that she engaged in sexual activity with a 10-year-old boy and a 3-year-old boy. She told the officer that the 10-year-old would not disclose the abuse "because he is a special needs kid and is unable to speak."
Investigators say Mendell kept several social media profiles and court documents cite a previous Oklahoma City police report from 2002 indicating that people inside her home had been observed watching "bestiality porn videos."
Officers report a search of the home found two dogs, one of which was a Rottweiler that investigators say was mentioned in "chats and the defendant's "beastdating" profile."
Mendell is currently in the Oklahoma County jail on a $250,000 bond.
