Canadian County Sheriff: two arrested after stash of drugs, cash, stolen gun recovered
The Canadian County Sheriff announced Wednesday that two men were arrested on multiple charges after deputies intercepted a substantial amount of methaphetamines and prescription drugs before a delivery in El Reno.Deputies arrested Kyle Bradley Cleveland, 27, of El Reno, and Eric Cade McDaniel, 42, of Yukon in the early morning hours last Friday.According to a report sent out by Canadian County, deputies were tipped off to the location by a confidential informant. They said they spotted the vehicle and it made multiple traffic violations before the stop on Morgan Road south of I40.Deputies said McDaniel was driving and didn't have a valid license. Based on the informant's information, deputies said they believed the men to be armed and they were ordered out of the car. Deputies put both men in custody as they searched the vehicle.They said they found a semi-automatic handgun, two ounces of methamphetamine, three bottles of steroids, a gram of heroin, 11 Loratabs, a quantity of Xanax, five Viagra capsules, and $3,290.00 in cash. Deputies said the gun was discovered to have been stolen during a robbery in Oklahoma City last March.Deputies say both men are convicted felons with drug histories. They were taken to the Canadian County Jail where they face charges of trafficking & possession of CDS, felon in possession of a firearm after a former conviction, possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of drug proceeds.
