      Canadian County Sheriff busts felon for child porn

      Christopher Sexton was arrested by Canadian County Deputies on child pornography charges.
      Investigators in Canadian County say they arrested a man for downloading more than 100 images of child pornography to his computer with four children in the same home.Christopher Sexton, 30, was arrested Thursday in El Reno by the Canadian County Sheriff's Office and member of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force.Investigator say they received information that child pornography was being downloaded and secured a search warrant. They arrived and said they found more than 100 images of children being sexually molested by adult males and females. Sexton told investigators that he searched for them online, downloaded them, and saved the images to the computer.Five other adults and four children were in the home where Sexton was arrested. The Oklahoma Department of Human Services was contacted and is providing services to the family. This is the second arrest in the past ten days where the Canadian County Sheriff's Office arrested a for downloading pornography in the same home as minors. An Oklahoma City man was also arrested on May 6th on similar charges."This is the second case in as many weeks where an arrest was made in connection with child pornography being downloaded in a home where children are residing. I can only pray that these little ones haven't been molested," said Randall Edwards, Canadian County Sheriff.Deputies say when they searched the home, they found a .22 caliber handgun, five grams of marijuana, and scales. Sexton told authorities it all belonged to him. Sexton was convicted in 2004 for assault and battery of a police officer. He was booked in to the Canadian County Jail on charges of aggravated possession of child pornography, possession of marijuana in the presence of a child, and for being a felon in possession of a firearm.His bond was set at $140,000.00 and he remains in custody.
