Bethel Acres family gets keys to new home

A Bethel Acres family, displaced by the May tornadoes, took possession of their new home Saturday morning.

The Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity and Crossings Community Church were key in making the home a reality for Joel and Bettie Spears. The home was built by donations and manpower supplied by the two organizations.

Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity hopes to build 400 homes in the next three to five years for those impacted by the tornadoes.
