Armed man holds police at bay during S. Oklahoma City standoff
Police say they're working to peacefully end a standoff that started after a domestic situation in S Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma City Police Captain Dexter Nelson said his department received a call at 3:30 to the 6600 block of S. Harvey.
According to Nelson, officers arrived and found a woman running down the street with a gun. She told police she escaped from a domestic situation at a home in the area, took the suspect's gun and ran.
Police say the man has several other guns inside the house and are working to end the standoff.
Police are working to get in touch with the suspect and the SWAT team has been called to the scene.
