Arkansas man wanted on child sex charges arrested in OKC

Leon Cohen was arrested on two outstanding warrants out of Arkansas. One of which was a sex crimes against children charge.

The Oklahoma City Police Department said when they were called to a report of a man who was drunk and threatening his wife, they found a man wanted on several sex crimes charges in Arkansas.Leon Cohen, 40, was arrested Saturday night at a home in the 3000 block of NW 12th street.Police said they were called to the home by Cohen's wife who said she did not want to go inside the home because Cohen was drunk and she was worried he would hurt her. Before police entered the home, they checked him for warrants. He was listed as having tow active warrants from Pulaski County in Arkansas for failure to appear and attempt to commit sexual assault/sexual indecency with a child.After getting the information, police entered the home and arrested him without incident.
