Amber Alert canceled for missing Enid boy
An Amber Alert has been canceled for a missing 5-year-old boy out of Enid. Enid police say Anastacio Reyes, Jr. is safe and in protective custody. The suspect, Anastacio Reyes, Sr. has been apprehended by police. The Amber Alert was issued early Wednesday morning after police say Anastacio Reyes, Sr. abducted the child. The child's mother told police Reyes fled with the child around 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday. According to authorities, Reyes, Sr. was intoxicated at the time and assaulted the mother with a knife before fleeing with the child. The mother has full custody of the child. Reyes, Sr. was reported wearing blue jeans and only one boot. Police say Reyes fled with the child in a white 2004 Chevy with an OU sticker on the back and silver colored tool box. He was believed to be headed to Boise City.
