More than 120,000 spectators from across the country are expected to attend the U.S. Senior Open throughout the week of July 7-13, 2014. Featured players will include Bob Tway, Scott Verplank and Gil Morgan. They are among the 156 Professionals and Amateurs, all over the age of 50, that are expected to compete. This event is great for both Edmond and Oklahoma City. That's because the U.S. Senior Open projects an estimated impact of more than $15 million to the local economies! The Senior Open will be at the highly ranked Oak Tree National course in Edmond. All members of the military and their families can come watch for free! Scott Verplank and Desmond Mason will be playing each other on Wednesday. The end of the week (Thursday through Saturday) is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and final rounds of the open.
