The Oklahoma Department of Health's weekly numbers are out and shows the number of flu deaths have climbed again.
A total of 44 Oklahomans died from flu-related illnesses. That number is up 11 since last week when 33 were reported to have died since flu season started in September..
The state reports the two counties with the highest reports of deaths are Tulsa (8) and Comanche (6). Oklahoma County has one death reported since the flu season started with a total 198 hospitalizations.
The majority of deaths are reported in the 50-64 age group where 19 have died from the flu.
