According to the USGS, the earthquake was recorded at 5:25 p.m. Sunday about four miles north-northeast of Edmond. The 'quake had a recorded depth of nearly 3 miles.
The Oklahoma Geological Survey reports a second earthquake with a magnitude of 2.6 was recorded at 5:29 p.m. in the same area.
