3.4 magnitude earthquake recorded in northern Oklahoma

The United States Geological Survey reports that a 3.4 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in northern Oklahoma Saturday evening.

According to the USGS, the earthquake was recorded at 8:41 p.m. approximately seven miles northeast of Medford in Grant County.

The earthquake was recorded at a depth of just over two miles.

Earlier today, a 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded southwest of Perry.
