Police arrested a woman late Thursday night for driving under the influence and found her 3-year-old daughter in the car with her.
Vickie Rudkin, 38, was pulled around 11:00 PM Thursday in the 3100 block of SW 126th Street. When police pulled her over, they reported smelling alcohol on her breath, her speech was slurred, and her eyes were bloodshot and watery. Officers say her daughter was in the backseat of the car.
Rudkin's ex-husband called police to report her driving under the influence. He had been following her through the neighborhood but lost track of her vehicle near Drexel and SW 128th Street.
Rudkin agreed to take a field sobriety test, however, the responding officer reported a lack of smooth pursuit in both eyes.
Rudkin was taken into custody and transported to the Oklahoma County Jail on multiple charges, including DUI and child endangerment by DUI.
Rudkin's daughter was released to her ex-husband.
