3 Earthquakes in metro area
OKLAHOMA COUNTY —
A fourth earthquake has been registered in the metro.
Located near the same area as earlier quakes this temblor was listed at 3.6 magnitude and was felt at 9:19 a.m.
The U. S. Geological Survey is reporting three earthquakes Saturday morning southeast of Edmond.
The quakes could be felt between 4:14 a.m. and 5:41 a.m. and were rated from 2.6 to 3.7 magnitude. All three temblors were located to the southeast of Arcadia Lake within two miles of each other.
The largest was at 4:36 a.m. and was centered six miles east-southeast of Edmond and 10 miles northwest of Choctaw. That earthquake was preceded by a 2.7 quake and followed by the 2.6 quake.
There were no reports of damage.
