Police: 2 men arrested after attempting to sell marijuana to a juvenile
Broken Arrow police arrested two men early Sunday for attempting to sell marijuana to a 17-year-old girl.
According to the Broken Arrow Police Department, just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday an officer observed a vehicle parked in a known meeting point for distributing drugs.
After the officer made contact with the occupants of the vehicle he found 24-year-old Kameron Killam, 25-year-old Ryan Johnson and a 17-year-old minor in the vehicle.
The officer noticed the smell of marijuana and found a bag containing marijuana buds along with a digital weight scale in the vehicle.
After speaking with the suspects, the officer determined that Johnson had allegedly brought the juvenile to the location to buy marijuana in hopes she would then get in a relationship with him.
Killam, who is a swim coach at Broken Arrow High School, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute to a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Johnson was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute to a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
